Description

Templates for various clever brackets, organizers, and other storage for your french cleat wall. I’ll be adding new designs as I develop more!

Templates Details:

  • Includes both a PDF and SVG format file of each design.
  • Designed to be cut from 1/4″ thick material, adjustments will need to be made for other material thicknesses.
  • All designs incorporate a 45° french cleat, and designs with multiple cleats assume french cleats to be spaced every 5″.
  • Intended to be cut on a laser, but can be cut on a CNC router with some modification, or simply cut on a bandsaw with a steady hand.
  • Some options include multiple template design, see below list for full details

Templates Options:

  • Bench Cookie Dispenser
    • Holds 8 Rockler bench cookies, 12 chocolate chip cookies, 3″ diameter
  • Bins
    • Simple – 3.5″ wide x 3.5″ deep x 4.25″ tall storage bin
    • Grid style – 12″ wide x 7″ deep x 7″ tall with 12 compartments
  • Blade Storage
    • Simple – holds most blade diameters, 1/4″ thick
    • Box style 10″ thin – holds 10″ diameter blades, 7/16″ thick (bandsaw blades up to 94″ long)
    • Box style 12″ thick – holds 12″ diameter blades, 1.75″ thick (bandsaw blades up to 113″ long)
  • Cord/Hose Holders
    • Hook – simple wide reinforced hook, 1.25″ wide x 5.75″ deep x 6.5″ tall
    • Flat reel – good for cords, can be wrapped around center to give access to both plugs, reversible, 1.25″ wide x 6.75″ deep x 18″ tall
    • Round Reel – good for cords or hoses, 12.5″ wide x 4.75″ deep x 6.25″ tall
  • Glove Box
    • Good for all standard glove box sizes, up to 5.125″ wide x 3.375″ deep x 9.5″ tall
  • Hardware Shelf
    • 12″ wide – 12.75″” wide x 6.25″ deep x 7.5″ tall, perfect for glue bottle!
    • 24″ wide – 24″ wide x 6.25″ deep x 7.5″ tall
    • 25″ wide – 25″ wide x 6.25″ deep x 7.5″ tall
    • 30″ wide – 30.5″ wide x 6.25″ deep x 7.5″ tall
  • Plastic Cup Holder
    • Holds 3 standard quart sized cups, 14.75″ wide x 6.125″ deep x 4.25″ tall
  • Propane Torch Holder
    • 3.5″ wide x 3.25″ deep x 10.5″ tall
  • Sandpaper Storage
    • 5″ diameter – 6″ wide x 6.5″ deep x 18.75″ tall
    • 6″ diameter – 7″ wide x 7.5″ deep x 18.75″ tall
  • Spray Paint Can Holder – 9.25″ wide x 5.125″ deep (in angled position)
    • Top module – used to store cans at an angle, store holder flat against wall
    • Middle module – add as many of these as you want!
    • Bottom module – creates a clean bottom to the holder instead of the middle module

 

The entire template is included in a single PDF and SVG document. It is likely that you have a PDF reader installed on your computer already, but if you have trouble opening the file you can use the free program Adobe Reader to view the plans (available here). The checkout process on my site uses PayPal where you can use either your PayPal account or major credit or debit cards. Once your payment has processed, you will receive an email receipt for your purchase and that will contain a link to download your plan. Please be sure to check your inbox for the download link, your spam filters if you don’t see it in your inbox, and if after ~30 minutes you don’t see it in either place or encounter other issues, please feel free to contact me. Note that any downloadable product in my store is not refundable once you have downloaded the file.
