This mountain silhouette is made from a single board of rough cut 2×16 lumber, cut in half and joined on the edge. The wood is a piece that I recently acquired which actually used to belong to my great grandfather. I created a silhouette of a combination of 4 different mountain ranges – the White Mountains in NH, the Berkshires in MA, the Bubbles in Acadia in ME, and the Smoky Mountains in TN/NC.
