FAQs
Plans & Templates
Check your email, you'll get an order confirmation email and the links to download will be right in there. If you ordered your plans a while ago and they aren't showing up in your downloadable files, please just send me a message and I'll get that sorted out.
If you bought your templates after October 2021, then you have bought one of the sets made in house by me, so please just send me a message and I'll get that sorted out.
If you bought your templates before October 2021, then you bought your templates from my previous partner MakerBitz, so please contact them directly at hello@makerbitz.com. Unfortunately I can not assist with any MakerBitz orders, as those orders take place outside of my website.
No, unfortunately I only work in Imperial units so making metric plans is not very feasible. I am not aware of lumber sizing in other countries and what you can buy and a lot of the dimensions are based on that. Luckily for plans like the adirondack chairs, they include a printable template so you can just print it out and trace it without having to worry at all about dimensions.
Custom Orders
I used to sell my chairs before the videos became the main focus of my business. However, I do offer plans for them, the footrest, and a matching side table, along with physical templates for those as well. Feel free to buy the plans or templates and have a local woodworker make them for you. Or... make them yourself!! They honestly aren't as hard as they look, just please pretend I didn't tell you that and just act impressed to keep my ego going.
Unfortunately, the answer is likely no. My primary business is making video content and everything that is attached to that. The projects that I make are primarily need based depending on making an interesting video or something that will fit with a certain sponsor, so if I can't make a video out of it, I can't do it. If it is intersting enough to make a video out of though, I might want to tackle it! Please have a realistic budget in mind though, custom handmade stuff does not come cheap.

Shooting & Editing Videos
I'm currently shooting with a Sony a6500 with the Sigma 18-35 F/1.8 lens and lens mount converter.
You can see and get links to all of my current camera gear here
I started my videos just with my smart phone, upgraded to a Canon t3i with kit lens, upgraded to the Sigma lens, then upgraded to my current setup.
Yes, I edit all of my own videos. I learned just by doing, trial and error is a powerful thing. I make it a goal to add something new to every video and that incremental change is what keeps me learning. There are many great resources only for video editing, especially if you have a particular task in mind that you're trying to replicate. The Cinecom YouTube channel in particular is one of my favorites. My friend Pat Lap is an editing pro and has been a great resource for me as well, but I don't share him, he's all mine.
Other
Free ways to support me include adding your email to my mailing list, following me on all of my social media channels, and most importantly just commenting on and sharing my content around. People who have done that are literaly why I'm doing what I am today.
The best way to support me monetarily is by buying my paid plans, templates, merch, or handmade work (if anything is available).
Also, please support my sponsors because they are the reason I'm able to spend so much time on each project and video. Use the coupon codes when they are available because they can see where the order came from. Or just let them know through social media or email that you heard about their brand because of me.
